Comfortable living spaces

The dining tables and our great-room will be available for guest use during our provided breakfast and afternoon snack.  Enjoy the warmth of our B&B with the seasonal wood burning fireplace.  We offer a complimentary daily afternoon snack and beverage on the deck (weather permitting) or in the great-room, where you can enjoy chatting with other guests about your daily adventures and plans.  We also provide multiple seasonal outdoor seating areas, to enjoy the sights and sounds of the forest.  After dinner, star gaze or enjoy a home-made ice cream across the street at the Little Truckee Creamery, or fall asleep listening to tranquil Gregory Creek as it flows through the property.

Charming guest rooms

Guest rooms are warmed by gas fireplaces. Each with private entrance, shower, window seats with forest views, snuggly bathrobes (available upon request) and high-end linens. Queen-size beds are wrought iron and wood, four-poster, or sleigh. Rooms have comfy chairs with reading lights. . . flat screen TVs with cable and complimentary high speed WiFi.  Complimentary parking is within feet of your guest room door.

Breakfast worth getting up for

Enjoy a hearty homemade country breakfast served fresh from the oven/grill each morning, served in the dining area of the great room.  All breads and pastries are home made.  Vegetarian diets and food allergies are accommodated with advance notice.  Vegan breakfast is available, for a small surcharge, with advance notice.  We are unable to guarantee a paleo or keto meal.

Located across the street from Donner Lake at the “Crossroads.” Quarter mile to West End Beach. Three to nine miles from Sugar Bowl, Northstar, Donner Ski Ranch, Boreal, Soda Springs, Royal Gorge and Tahoe Donner. Fourteen miles to Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows. Four miles to historic Truckee shopping and restaurants.  Seventeen miles to Lake Tahoe. Thirty-eight miles to Reno.
