Sugar Bowl Ski Resort-Located 10 minutes from the B & B, Sugar Bowl Ski Resort offers 4 peaks with 103 trails, designed for all skill levels. They have 13 lifts including high speed quads to get you to the top quickly. They offer lessons, rentals, and dining facilities. They no longer provide discounted lift tickets to their lodging partners, but we have the link to allow direct on line booking of lift tickets through our webiste. Piping Rock Equestrian Center-Located just 10 minutes away- Piping Rock Equestrian Center provides guided scenic trail rides through the Tahoe National Forest to some of the local reservoirs. Local wildlife is often scene on the trail. Snow rides are offered during winter and regular trail rides are available following the snowmelt through the Fall.
