The guest room gas fireplaces are seasonal. Weather permitting, they are typically operational from October to June.
Available from 4:15pm to 5:15pm, the heart of the B & B, includes a seasonal wood burning fireplace. Enjoy our late afternoon complimentary snack and beverage service while chatting with other guests about the adventures of the day. Weather permitting, French doors open to our 30-foot deck where you can enjoy your afternoon snack and beverage with filtered lake views .
Dining Areas
Start your day off right with a complete breakfast freshly prepared in the cheery kitchen served in the adjoining dining area. In addition to the gourmet country breakfast, homemade goodies including hot cookies, fresh snacks or other treats and seasonal hot/cold beverages are served daily each afternoon. Our great room is only available for breakfast and afternoon snack. Guests are asked to enjoy their dinner off property in one of Truckee’s many restaurants.
Morning Beverage Service
The first rays of the morning sun can be enjoyed with a fresh cup of coffee or tea in one of the comfortable patio chairs, on the deck, or in the great room. You can peacefully watch the squirrels, read a book, or chat with a friend in this inviting atmosphere.
Pine Lodge
Morning sun floods this room with East-facing windows. The Pine Lodge room, with a wood and wrought iron queen bed is perfect for two. A loft style bunk bed (not built for adults) turns this cheery space into a room for a family of 2 adults and 2 children (18 and under).
Mountain Escape
Enjoy the lovely mountain decor in this sunny “Mountain Escape” including a wood and iron queen bed with a matching twin bed. A comfortable chair invites reading and reflection accompanied by fireplace and forest views. Maximum capacity is 3 people including children and infants.
Moose Crossing
Enjoy this room with the cherry sleigh queen bed. Relax with a book before the fire in the club chair for a good read. Sunlight streams in and you can snuggle up on the window seat and feel like you’re right in the forest. Maximum capacity is 2 people including children and infants.
Bear’s Lair
Settle in for the night in this room with a four-poster queen bed. Enjoy the fire, a book , or a sound sleep in your room in the forest. Open the window and hear the creek — only a stone’s throw away. Maximum capacity is 2 people including children and infants.
Creekside
The Creekside Room with wood and iron queen bed and a matching twin bed as shown. There’s a comfortable club chair for reading or fire gazing. Be lulled to sleep by Gregory Creek — just steps from your window. Maximum capacity is 3 people including children and infants.
Hot Tub
The year-round outdoor hot tub is available from 4:00PM to 9:30PM. We can provide hot tub towels. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Parking
We have limited parking space, and allow for one vehicle per guest room. Should you have an extra large or more than one vehicle, please call us prior to arrival so we can make necessary arrangements.
